Local gold prices record historic surge, 21-karat gold at JD67.3
Wednesday, the price of gold in local market increased by JD1.40, to record a historic surge, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price for 21-karat gold is JD67.30 per gram, while the purchase price is JD65.30, according to the Jordanian Jewellers Syndicate (JJS).
The selling price of gold per gram for 24-karat and 18-karat reached JD76.90 and JD59.80 respectively.
The selling price of a gram of 14-karat gold reached JD45.40.
