Royal Jordanian resumes flights to Damascus at end of January
Royal Jordanian Airlines announced the resumption of its flights to the Syrian capital, Damascus, starting from January 31, 2025.
In a statement, the company said that Royal Jordanian is one of the first airlines to resume direct flights to Damascus, at a rate of 4 flights per week, linking Damascus to Royal Jordanian’s network that reaches more than 45 destinations in Europe, America, the Middle East and the Arabian Gulf.
Samer Majali, Vice Chairman/ CEO of Royal Jordanian, said “We thank the Jordanian government and the concerned authorities and appreciate their continuous efforts regarding the return of flights to Damascus International Airport, stressing Royal Jordanian’s commitment to be one of the first airlines to provide air links to the Syrian market with countries around the world.”
