Interior Ministry identifies categories allowed to leave and enter via Jaber border
The Ministry of Interior has identified the categories allowed to enter and leave through the Jaber border crossing between Jordan and Syria.
The ministry has identified categories of Jordanians and Syrians who are allowed to enter and leave through the Jaber border crossing to Syrian territory, stipulating that entry and departure be in accordance with the travel procedures followed and that there are no security obstacles, while continuing to allow categories that have previously been approved to use the Jaber border crossing.
Also, the ministry allowed Jordanian investors who have commercial records with a certain capital, Jordanian employees of commercial banks operating in Syria, and Jordanian businessmen who have membership cards in the Syrian Chambers of Industry and Commerce.
It also allowed Jordanian students studying in Syrian universities, provided they possess the necessary university documents, and official Jordanian delegations, including economic delegations.
Regarding Syrians, the Ministry of Interior has allowed entry and departure via the Jaber crossing for investors and their families who hold Jordanian commercial records with a certain capital, in addition to allowing Syrians who have acquired Jordanian citizenship, whether with a Jordanian passport or a Syrian passport.
The Ministry of Interior’s decision will be effective from the date of its issuance on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
