Bus Rapid Transit working hours extended until 12 AM
The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has extended the operating hours of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) until 12 midnight, starting from January 1, 2025.
The number of public transportation users in Jordan in 2024 reached 28 million passengers, 18 million of whom used the express bus, and 10 million passengers used the Amman Bus, according to the GAM.
The Municipality announced that 16 new buses have been operated on the BRT route from Zarqa to Sweileh.
This came during the patronage of the Mayor of Greater Amman, Yousef Shawarbeh, of the ceremony to hand over 16 new buses to be operated on the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route.
