Jordanian Ambassador to the United States, Dina Kawar, welcomed representatives of the US Department of Homeland Security to the Jordanian Embassy in Washington to sign the Letter of Joint Intent between the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the US Department of Homeland Security.
The letter confirms the commitment of both parties regarding the frequent flyer program, as this project is an important stage towards strengthening relations between the two countries in terms of security cooperation and travel between the two peoples, as the frequent flyer program is an important initiative to ensure faster entry for Jordanian travelers to the United States for the purpose of tourism or business, which contributes to supporting relations between the two peoples and enhancing economic growth.
Ambassador Kawar wrote in a post on X: 'Delighted to welcome the ceremonial completion of the Global Entry project with today’s signing of the Joint Letter of Intent between the US & the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This milestone agreement marks a significant step towards enhanced travel & security cooperation between our nations. The International Expedited Traveler Initiative will facilitate smoother entry for Jordanians with US visas for tourism & business, promoting people-to-people ties & economic growth.'
