CARC chief: Syrian Civil Aviation has reported closure of its airspace
Captain Haitham Misto, the Chief Commissioner of the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), confirmed Sunday that there have been no flights between Amman and Damascus for years, noting that what is currently happening has no impact on air traffic in Jordanian airspace.
Misto told Ammon News Agency that the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority was informed on Sunday morning that Syrian airspace was closed to air traffic, due to the current situation.
