Gasoline prices reduced by 5 fils, diesel prices increased for December
The Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Saturday, to determine the local selling prices of oil derivatives for the period from (December 1-31), where the global prices of crude oil and oil derivatives were reviewed during the current month of November and compared to their counterparts for last October, where global price rates showed a slight decrease in the prices of gasoline of both types (90 and 95) and a slight increase in diesel during the current month of November.
After applying the price equation according to global prices on all oil derivatives, the committee found a decrease in the price of gasoline 90 and 95 by (5) fils/liter for each, and an increase in the price of diesel by (5) fils/liter.
Accordingly, the Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee decided to amend the selling price of 90-octane gasoline to become (860) fils/liter instead of (865) fils/liter, the selling price of 95-octane gasoline to become (1105) fils/liter instead of (1110) fils/liter, the selling price of diesel to become (680) fils/liter instead of (675) fils/liter, and to continue to fix the selling price of kerosene at 620 fils/liter, and to keep the selling price of a domestic gas cylinder (12.5 kg) at 7 dinars/cylinder. It is worth noting that the average price of Brent crude during the current month of November amounted to about (74.5) dollars/barrel compared to its average price in last October, which amounted to about (75.8) dollars/barrel.
