The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces- Arab Army, and with the support of the World Food Program (WFP), sent a new humanitarian aid convoy to the people in the Gaza Strip.
According to a statement by the JHCO, the convoy includes 50 trucks loaded with food, medical, health supplies, and ready-to-eat meals, in addition to basic needs that will be delivered to the relevant authorities in the Gaza Strip to be distributed to those who deserve them.
JHCO's Secretary-General, Hussein Shibli, stressed that these efforts come within the framework of the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the people of Gaza, stressing that Jordan will remain at the forefront of those supporting them.
Shibli pointed to the ongoing cooperation with various local and international partners to provide humanitarian and relief aid.
The total number of trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip to date has reached 4,326 land trucks, in addition to 53 planes via El-Arish Airport, 124 Jordanian airdrops, 266 airdrops in cooperation with sisterly and friendly countries, and 8 helicopters, Shibli added.
The JHCO remains open to receiving monetary donations through its designated bank account at the Union Bank of Jordan, Al-Wehdat branch. Donations can be made using the following IBAN: JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 9151 06. Additionally, the organization has facilitated the 'CliQ' service under the name JHCOGAZA, as well as electronic payment options, bill payments, exchange offices, and its official website, www.jhco.org.jo.
