Jordan sent 106 aid convoys to Gaza since start of aggression
Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) Hussein Shibli, said on Monday that Jordan has sent 106 aid convoys, totaling 3,577 trucks, to Gaza since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza.
The cost of one truck of food aid is not less than $25,000, while the cost of one truck of medicines and medical supplies reaches $200,000, Shibli added.
Shibli also pointed out that the collection of donations and aid and their distribution within the Gaza Strip were all Jordanian efforts, to ensure that aid is delivered to those who deserve it in the north, center and south of the Strip.
The JHCO has partnerships with many international bodies and organizations to deliver more aid to the Gaza Strip, he explained to Al-Mamlaka.
He pointed out that Jordan wanted to make a real difference in delivering humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza Strip, stressing that the royal directives were always to explore various ways to deliver aid to the people of the Strip.
