350 days of war: Dozens of casualties in series of continued Israeli airstrikes across Gaza
A wave of Israeli airstrikes across Gaza has resulted in multiple casualties, with reports indicating that at least 13 civilians have been killed and numerous others injured, including women and children, over the last few hours.
Local sources confirmed that a strike on the Sheikh family home in the al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City led to the murder of seven individuals and left several others wounded. Emergency response teams are currently searching for survivors under the rubble.
In northern Gaza, an airstrike targeted the Abu Rabea family home in Beit Lahiya, resulting in several injuries. Rescue operations are ongoing as teams continue to search for missing persons.
Simultaneously, six more civilians were killed in a separate strike that hit the homes of the Abu al-Hatl and Ziyada families near a municipal park in Gaza City.
Additionally, an apartment in the Elia Tower in the al-Nuseirat refugee camp was targeted by an Israeli airstrike, leading to further casualties.
Earlier yesterday, seven civilians lost their lives when an Israeli airstrike targeted the Azzam family home in Jabalia, northern Gaza.
Artillery fire also hit residential areas near Abu Habib roundabout in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City.
Further casualties were reported in the eastern area of the town of al-Qararah, south of the region, where two civilians were killed, while two young men were killed in an Israeli strike targeting a vehicle at the entrance of the al-Maghazi refugee camp.
Israeli forces have also demolished several residential buildings in southeastern Gaza City and destroyed multiple structures in the northern part of al-Nuseirat refugee camp.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 41,272 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 95,551 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
