SSC's share of cash dividends to companies record JD157.9 million
Insurance and social protection expert Musa Al-Subaihi reveled that the Social Security Corporation (SSC) owns shares of 1% or more in the capital of (49) companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange.
The SSC's share in 2023 from the cash dividends from the recently approved profits of these companies for the year 2023 amounted to JD157.9 million, according to Al-Subaihi.
About 87% of these dividends, or about JD137 million, came from 7 main companies:
1) Jordan Phosphate Mines: JD53.4 million.
2) Arab Bank: JD33 million.
3) Housing Bank: JD12.14 million.
4) Jordanian Telecommunications: JD11.9 million.
5) Arab Potash Company: JD11.28 million.
6) Jordan Petroleum Refinery: JD9.06 million.
7) Jordanian Duty Free Shops: JD6.3 million.
