Blinken's 7th visit to the region comes within the framework of efforts to reach an immediate and complete ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the end of the war, ensuring the protection of civilians in accordance with international humanitarian law and the danger of the Israeli occupation attack on Rafah.
The two sides will also discuss mechanisms for lifting all restrictions that obstruct the entry of humanitarian aid into all areas of the Gaza Strip, to ensure that the humanitarian crisis does not worsen.
