A woman has been charged with two counts of theft and driving offences after 48 boxes of eggs were stolen.
The incident happened in a Marks & Spencer store at Gateway Retail Park in Banbury, Oxfordshire, on 27 March.
Thames Valley Police said the store manager reported the theft and that a suspect had escaped in a vehicle.
'Not your average poaching in Banbury,' the force wrote in a post on X, showing a picture of the recovered eggs.
TVP said all goods had been 'returned to their rightful owners'.
