The number of visitors to Wadi Rum during the last two months of 2024 reached 18,359, most of them foreigners, according to data from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
The data reviewed by the Kingdom showed that the number of visitors reached 6,814 visitors in December, while the number of visitors in February reached 11,545 visitors.
Foreign visitors occupied the highest percentage of the number of visitors, with 14,200 visitors, 1% Arabs and 187 visitors, while the number of Jordanian visitors reached 22% and 3,972 visitors.
Tourism income in Jordan during February grew by 8.9%, compared to the same month in 2023, to reach JD389.7 million ($549.6 million), according to the latest data issued by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).
