Commodity prices will be fixed until end of Ramadan: Industry Minister
Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Shamali said on Monday that Jordan's stock of basic foodstuffs, goods and merchandise is sufficient.
Shamali stated during his visit to commodity storage warehouses in the Juwaida area that commodity prices are stable and steady until the end of the month of Ramadan.
Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Khalil Haj Tawfiq, also said that the sale and consumption of food in the markets declined by 40% after October 7, 2023.
