The private Jordanian Field Hospital/2 in the southern Gaza Strip in the city of Khan Yunis will begin receiving patients on Monday, according to the hospital director, Lieutenant Colonel Doctor Mohammad Jumaa.

The hospital consists of emergency, general internal medicine, intensive care (ICU), men's, women's, prematurity departments with a capacity of 41 incubators, and obstetrics and gynecology departments, in addition to a laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, sterilization room, and two operating rooms for performing urgent surgical operations.
The hospital's 145 staff includes medical and nursing teams in the Royal Medical Services, specializations in general surgery, arterial surgery, neurology, thoracic surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedics, children's surgery, and maxillofacial surgery, in addition to administrators.
