House deletes "paragraph c of Article 20" of Cybercrime Law
The House of Representatives voted by majority on MP Mayada Shreim’s proposal to delete paragraph (c) of Article 20 in a draft law amending the Cybercrime Law.
Paragraph (c) added by the Legal Committee states that, 'Anyone who publishes a recording, photo, scene, or video without permission, even if he is authorized to record or capture it, shall be punished, based on a complaint, by imprisonment for a period of no less than three months and a fine of no less than JD5,000 and no more than JD20,000.'
