Jordanian delegation visits Palestine to boost trade, investment
A Jordanian economic delegation comprising 45 business owners in various sectors arrived in occupied Palestine on Sunday to enhance trade and investment between the two countries.
The delegation's visit, which was organized by the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, will include participation in the Fourth Economic Empowerment Conference, which will be held in Hebron and meetings with Palestinian economic actors, in addition to visits to factories.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Forum Nazmi Atma said that the delegation's visit looks to enhance intra-trade between the two countries, increase intra-investments, and leverage the opportunities available, according to a statement Monday.
He indicated that ways to increase trade exchange between Jordan and Palestine and overcome challenges, especially the obstacles placed by the Israeli occupation to the flow of goods between the two sides, will be discussed during the business meetings that the delegation will hold with businessmen's forums and associations from Hebron, Ramallah and Nablus.
