Hotel occupancy rates of all categories during the current weekend reached 51% in Amman, 50% in the Dead Sea, 24% in Petra, and 63% in Aqaba.
In a statement to 'Petra' on Thursday, Vice President and Spokesperson for Jordan Hotels Association (JHA), Hussein Hilalat, said occupancy rates in 5-star hotels reached 55% in the capital, Amman, and 59% in the Dead Sea, while the rate stood at 65% in Aqaba and 32% in Petra.
Hilalat added that four-star occupancy rates in Amman and Dead Sea stand at 47% and 41%, respectively.
Meanwhile, Hilalat noted that four-star hotels in the Aqaba region and Petra have an occupancy rate of 62% and 28%, respectively.
