The volume of real estate trading declined in the first third of the year 2023 by 1% compared to the same period in 2022, according to a monthly report of the Department of Lands and Survey (DLS) on Monday.
The movement of real estate in Jordan decreased by 5% in the first third of 2023, the department said.
The DLS also indicated that apartment sales declined by 12% in the first third of 2023, compared to the same period last year, while the sales of non-Jordanians also decreased by 17%.
On the other hand, the department's revenues increased in the first third of 2023 by 6%, to reach 81.5 million dinars, compared to the first third of 2022.
