The South Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tuesday announced that the two parties to the conflict in Sudan have agreed to a seven-day truce starting Thursday, May 4.
The ministry stated that the Sudanese army commander, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, 'agreed in principle to a truce for seven days between 4 and 11 May.'
