Oman has opened its airspace to Israeli airlines, in a move that will shorten flight times to destinations in Asia.
The sultanate's civil aviation authority published a statement on Thursday stating that the country's airspace was 'open for all carriers that meet the requirements of the Authority for overflying'.
'It's an historic and significant decision for the Israeli economy and the Israeli traveller,' said Israel's Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.
