A security source in the Palestinian police denied, Wednesday, the validity of pictures posted on social media that showed the people of Nablus leaving their homes after the earthquake that hit occupied Palestine.
In a statement to Ammon, the source said that the circulating pictures of the people are incorrect, but rather old, dating back to 2017.
The director of the Jordanian Seismological Observatory (JSO), Eng. Ghassan Sweidan, said that the observatory recorded at dawn on Wednesday, an earthquake north of Nablus.
The tremor, which is considered sensible on the Richter scale, occurred at 12:15 am Amman time at a depth of 10 kilometers.
