Social Security Corporation (SSC) announced that it has implemented the decision issued by the Tripartite Committee for Labor Affairs, which includes increasing the minimum wage for the years (2023-2024-2025) equivalent to the inflation rate issued by the official authorities, provided that this percentage is calculated for each year according to the inflation rate for the eleven months preceding each year.
The SSC said in a statement on Monday that the minimum wage, is (JD260), according to the previous decision of the Tripartite Committee for Labor Affairs, and since the inflation rate for the first (11) months of last year amounted to (4.22%), the minimum wage is subject to social security deduction for the year 2023 to become (JD271).
