Jordanian industrial delegation begins working visit to Saudi Arabia
Industrial delegation begins a working visit Saturday to Saudi Arabia, to discuss developing the two countries' economic relations and building joint industrial partnerships.
The delegation, headed by the head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Fathi Jaghbir, includes industrial companies working in many different production sectors, while the visit organized by the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) includes Jeddah, Makkah Al Mukarramah and Al Madinah Al Munawwarah.
The ACI said, in a statement Saturday, that the delegation’s 7-day visit will include participation in the Makkah Expo for Hotels and Restaurants, which kicks of next Tuesday.
Jaghbir stressed the importance of strengthening economic relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and increasing their trade exchanges, which amounted to $4.2 billion in 2021, in light of the distinguished relationship between the two countries in various fields.
Jaghbir praised the cooperation of the various authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in facilitating the procedures for the delegation's visit, in addition to the efforts of the Jordanian embassy in the capital, Riyadh.
