Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh has met with UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohamed AlMazrouei in Abu Dhabi, to discuss energy cooperation between Jordan and the UAE as well as developments in the global market.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Energy on Wednesday, the two officials emphasized the importance of increasing electrical interconnection between Arab countries in order to facilitate the establishment and management of electric power generation projects while lowering costs.
Kharabsheh also visited the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) in Dubai, and discussed means of cementing logistic and investment cooperation with its CEO Saif Humaid Al Falasi.
The minister’s visit to the UAE was to take part in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the meeting of the International Renewable Energy Agency’s General Assembly.
