JOD maintains its rank as 4th strongest currency globally
The Jordanian dinar (JOD) maintained its advanced classification as one of the strongest and most expensive currencies in the world for the past 2022.
The Jordanian dinar was classified as the 4th strongest currency after the Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars and the Omani riyal, respectively, according to a classification issued at the end of last year.
International economic websites mentioned that the linkage of the Jordanian dinar, which is equal to 1.41 dollars, to the US dollar helped the Jordanian currency become one of the strongest currencies in the world.
Trading and currency websites added that despite the status of the Jordanian dinar, it is still used only in Jordan and not anywhere else in the world.
The websites also stated that Jordan has a currency of very high value, but it is interesting that the country is not developed economically, perhaps because it does not possess some basic natural resources such as oil.
