Minister of Public Works and Housing Maher Abu Al Samen, discussed with his Egyptian counterpart Kamel Al-Wazir, on Tuesday, prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of all modes of transport, and ways to enhance joint cooperation.
This came on the sidelines of the meetings of the Council of Arab Ministers of Transport held in Alexandria, in the presence of members of the Jordanian delegation participating in the meetings.
During the meeting, Abu Al Samen appreciated the efforts made by Egypt to overcome the obstacles and difficulties facing the transport sector between Arab countries.
He added that the meetings that are currently being held in Alexandria are constructive and fruitful, hoping that their decisions will be reflected in the reality of transport between Arab countries because of its positive impact on advancing the economic wheel and providing the best services to citizens.
For his part, the minister appreciated the role and efforts made by Jordan to bridge the views of the Arab brothers with the aim of adopting modern transport policies that keep pace with the latest global developments to serve all modes of transport.
