The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission headed by Ali Abbas has reached an expert-level agreement with the Jordanian government regarding the fifth review of performance within the economic reform program established by the government and supported by the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) agreement, according to what the IMF said in a statement on Tuesday.
The IMF said that Jordan has shown a strong commitment to continue implementing the economic reform program, expecting an economic growth for Jordan of 2.7 percent in 2022.
He added that Jordan's public revenues have achieved growth through efforts to tackle tax evasion and avoidance.
