Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi said during a phone call with new Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom that Jordanian-Swedish relations are deep-rooted with a common desire to further enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
The ministers discussed ways to cement bilateral cooperation in various fields within the framework of the partnership with the European Union, and step up coordination on regional and international issues and efforts to resolve regional crises and achieve security and stability.
They also went over preparations for a state visit to Jordan by King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia next month, which reflects the strong ties between the two kingdoms.
