International Investment Forum for Renewable Energy kicks off in Jordan
Amman will host on Sunday the Seventh International Forum for Investment in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, organized by the Arab Renewable Energy Commission (AREC), with Arab and international participation.
The Authority's Secretary-General, Mohammed Al-Taani, said on Saturday that the forum will discuss over three days many important and vital topics in various fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, smart cities, smart grids, green hydrogen and sustainability.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Mauritania, Morocco, USA, Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Romania, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Yemen, Britain and Chad will participate in the forum.
It is noteworthy that the State of Qatar currently chairs the AREC.
