The Chairman of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority(PDTRA), Suleiman Farajat, confirmed that Petra recorded on Wednesday, 19th October 2022 the highest number of visitors, since the Corona pandemic.
'Today 4350 foreign visitors visited Petra, praise be to God, the highest number since the start of the Corona pandemic and this year', Farajat said in Facebook post.
He added, 'Certainly, it is not the effort of any party alone, but rather a collective effort, and the first of them is for our master, who gave Jordan its reputation, and for a country that is all treasures from its north to its south.'
