Minister praises 'high quality' products showcased at SIAL Paris
Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Fayez visited Jordan's pavilion at the SIAL International Food Exhibition in Paris, the world's largest professional meeting in the food sector.
Accompanied by Jordanian Ambassador to France Makram Qaisi, Fayez toured the pavilion that houses eleven Jordanian companies from the food industries sector, commending the high quality the Jordanian industry has reached, according to a statement issued Tuesday by the Jordan Exporters Association (JEA).
The companies, specializing in sweets, chocolate, spices, nuts, and beverages, are showcasing their products in the 150-square-meter pavilion through the JEA.
Occurring every two years, SIAL is a global food event featuring the world’s leading retail and food service buyers in one location. It attracts over 310,000 visitors from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
