Minister of Transport Wajih Azaizeh and Minister of State for Follow-up and Government Coordination Nawaf Al-Tal on Monday discussed with a delegation of Air Arabia of the United Arab Emirates prospects for joint cooperation.
During the meeting, which was attended by UAE Chargé d'Affairs Khaled Al-Nuaimi, and Chairman Board of Commissioners of the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission Haitham Misto, Azaizeh noted the deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries, stressing the need to further bolster trade and investment relations, and increase air link between Abu Dhabi and Amman.
He said his ministry would positively respond to requests by Emirati companies, which reflects the growing relations in economic, tourism and commercial fields.
Al-Tal also pointed out that any new investment or economic activity between the two countries will be given due attention and promptly dealt with 'in a manner to serve the two countries, and the air transport sector in particular.
For his part, Al-Nuaimi said the UAE seeks to enhance its investments in Jordan, pointing to the advantages it offers to Emirati investment and the post-Covid growth in commercial, economic and tourism sectors.
