Aqaba Chamber of Commerce (ACC) and Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) Tuesday discussed in Aqaba areas of cooperation in trade and economy.
The ACC Vice President, Rami Riyati, said that ACC seeks to overcome the challenges facing trade exchange between the two chambers, noting the strong ties that link the commercial sectors in Aqaba and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The ACC Board of Directors and the Palestinian delegates discussed the obstacles facing the movement between the ports of Aqaba and the Palestinian cities. They talked about the pressing need to overcome them in partnership and cooperation with the government to support Palestinian businessmen in the occupied territories.
Riyati said that the ACC and the HCCI had signed an agreement to hold an exhibition of Palestinian products in Aqaba in the near future, adding that this would be the ACC's contribution in support of Palestinian products.
