Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), with the participation of the Arab Union for Gold and Jewelery (AUGJ), is scheduled to organize here on Sunday, the activities of First Arab Jewellery Forum (FAJF).
The forum, which will be attended by traders from Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait and official Jordanian institutions concerned with the gold and jewelry sector, is an 'important' platform for strengthening the strategic partnership and building trade and investment relations among the AUGJ's member states, according to a JCC statement on Saturday.
Representative of the clothing, fabric, and jewelry sector at JCC, Asaad Qawasmi, said the forum will discuss many issues on Arab certificates and rules of origin, global future data for gold prices and efforts to promote Jordan on the map of Arab jewelry.
The event, he noted, represents an opportunity to take advantage of the economic opportunities available in the Arab jewelry sector, in a bid to achieve common interests and enhance joint cooperation in the gold and jewelry sector, especially in light of the current international economic data.
