Palestinian woman killed by Israeli fire in southern West Bank
A Palestinian woman was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces north of the city of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, according to a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
Ghufran Harun Hamid Warasneh, 31, was shot in the chest at the entrance to Al-Aroub camp, according to the ministry.
According to Palestinian Red Crescent sources, Israeli occupation forces hampered ambulance crews' arrival until about 20 minutes after the shooting of Warasneh.
Warasneh, a media graduate, was reportedly imprisoned in Israel for three months earlier this year before being released on April 1.
