Jordan home to tourist attractions, ancient civilization – says Katara’s general manager
General Manager of Katara, the Cultural Village Foundation, in Doha, Qatar Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti said that Jordan has an ancient civilization and a number of tourist attractions.
On the sidelines of the Doha-held 'Jordan... civilization story' exhibition, al-Sulaiti the fair comes as an extension of cultural exchange and tourism promotion between Qatar and Jordan, and represents an opportunity to introduce Jordan's heritage and history.
Al-Sulaiti stressed the keenness of Katara to cooperate with the Jordanian embassy in Doha and the various embassies accredited to the country, in order to achieve its mission of building communication bridges between peoples.
The fair documents the history of the civilizations that came to Jordan and will run through June 7.
