The King Abdullah Fund for Development (KAFD) on Sunday launched a new edition of an app and game development and programming competition.
In a statement, KAFD said the 2022 edition of the 'The APP Challenge' will be online and will carry the theme 'Develop Your Game From Your Home'.
Targeting school-age students (14-16) across the Kingdom, the award is aimed at supporting the e-gaming industry in the Kingdom by providing technical training and support to tech savvy students and future programmers and designers, KAFD said in a statement.
Registration in the competition is open from March 20th through May 31st. Applications can be submitted to https://appch.kafd.jo.
The technical partner of the competition is Maysalward, an Amman-based mobile casual games developer and publisher.
