Amman Vision Investment and Development signs lease, development agreements for projects
Amman Vision Investment and Development Company (AVID), the master developer of the Greater Amman Municipality-owned lands, on Thursday announced the signing of subsequent agreements to refer a number of competitive investment opportunities and projects to a number of investment companies.
These agreements came after reaching “the finest formula” for the beneficiary parties and the Amman Vision Investment and Development Company (AVID), according to a company statement.
The projects include: A commercial complex project in Deir Ghbar, with an investment of up to JD1.5 million, a commercial complex project in Ras Al Ain, with an investment of up to JD1 million, in addition to a commercial complex project in the Sweileh area with an investment value of JD1.5 million.
CEO of AVID Hamza Al Haj Hasan said: “We are pleased to announce today that a number of investment entities have joined the list of beneficiaries of the services and sites provided by AVID, as these agreements come within the period of economic recovery that the government and private agencies are seeking to implement, in accordance with the Royal directives, and from here, we are honoured to be part of this bright vision for Jordan’s renaissance and return the beloved capital to its true position in the investment market”.
Hasana dded that during the past three months, the company offered investment opportunities in two phases.
He pointed out that these agreements are part of what was reached with the investors of the first phase, and that the offers submitted for the projects of the second phase are under evaluation.
He also indicated that the third phase will be announcedwithin a month, noting that the investment lands, based on the directions of Chairman of the Board of Directors/Mayor of Amman Yousef Al Shawarbeh, are available to all through competitive investment opportunities announced by the company.
The company is now focusing on small- and medium-sized projects, in which, global experiences have proven to be the best solution to reach economic recovery and create job opportunities, he said.
