U.K. scraps pre-departure Covid test for vaccinated visitors
The U.K. will no longer require vaccinated travelers to take a pre-departure Covid test or self-isolate on arrival in England, the country's Department for Transport announced Wednesday.
In a statement, the Department said that a lateral-flow test must still be taken within two days of entering England, and anyone who receives a positive result must self-isolate immediately and order a free PCR assessment.
'The changes take effect on Friday,' the statement added.
