Jordan, Saudi Arabia talk ways to increase agricultural cooperation
Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Hneifat on Wednesday discussed with a delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Water, ways to increase agricultural crops and foodstuffs exchange.
During a meeting with the Saudi Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Water Ahmed bin Saleh Khomshi and his accompanying delegation, Hneifat stressed the 'deep-rooted' Jordanian-Saudi relations, and the importance of exchanging joint expertise to develop the agricultural sector in both countries, lauding Saudi cooperation in all fields.
In turn, Khomshi pointed to Saudi Arabia's keenness to develop agricultural ties with Jordan and provide possible facilitations, while maintaining requirements of safety and quality of agricultural products imported into Saudi Arabia.
