Non-Jordanian ownership in Amman Stock Exchange-listed firms at 48.2%
The non-Jordanian ownership in the companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) comprised 48.2 percent as of November.
The value of shares bought by non-Jordanians in the ASE in November stood at JOD9.4 million, 6.8 percent of the total transactions, ASE numbers show.
Sold shares in the same period by non-Jordanians reached JOD11.3 million, a JOD1.9 million decline, compared with JOD4.8 million decline in the same period in 2020.
Statistics have also shown that the value of shares bought by non-Jordanians in the period between January - November, 2021 have reached JOD214.5 million, comprising 11.5 percent of the total transactions.
The value of sold shares by the same group stood at JOD246.4 million, constituting a JOD32.1 million decline in the non-Jordanian investment, compared with a JOD65.7 million decline in the same period in 2020.
