Jordan Chamber of Commerce First Vice President Jamal Rifai, on Wednesday met with Uganda's Ambassador to Jordan, Isaac Biruma Sebulime, for a discussion on ways to develop the two countries' economic relations and the private sector's role in this regard.
Rifai underlined the need to enhance trade and service relations and bilateral cooperation, and leveraging Jordan as a main gateway to enter many neighboring markets.
Rifai called for intensifying efforts and holding specialized meetings on promising sectors, especially tourism, health, communications, information technology and foodstuffs.
In turn, Ambassador Sebulime stressed the need to submit practical proposals that contribute to advancing trade exchange and establishing joint investments, indicating that his country enjoys a stable investment environment.
