QBF chief highlights efforts to activate cooperation with Jordan's businesswomen
Qatar Chamber Board Member and Chairperson of Qatari Businesswoman Forum (QBF), Ibtihaj Ahmadani, called for reviving joint cooperation between QBF and their Jordanian counterparts.
Ahmadani stressed the need to create continued contact channels between the two sides, which would contribute to strengthening and supporting the efforts of the two countries' private sector to promote economic, trade and investment relations to the 'highest' levels.
In an interview with 'Petra,' on Wednesday, she said Jordan-Qatar relations are 'deep-rooted, growing' in all fields, especially in regard to the the two countries' private sector ties, which should reflect on their businesswomen cooperation.
The forum, she added, has 'close' cooperation relations with many businesswomen's forums, whether at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Arab countries, or counterpart bodies around the world.
Qatari businesswomen actively take part in events abroad, whether exhibitions or conferences, which provide 'key' opportunities to learn about the foreign investment climate and opportunities, and contribute to strengthening cooperation with GCC, Arab and foreign businesswomen and exchange expertise.
