INJAZ, MS Pharma seal accord for ‘School Adoption Program’
INJAZ and MS Pharma, a multinational pharmaceutical company, on Sunday sealed an agreement to contribute to supporting the School Adoption Program (SAP), which comes as part of the Safe Back to School Campaign.
The SAP is a national program launched to develop the Jordanian educational sector, and help create a new ‘culture’ in which the private sector plays a major and direct role in the development of the educational system.
Today’s collaboration, signed by Executive Director of INJAZ Education Muhannad Jarrah and MS Pharma Levant Reginal Manager Abdulhamid Sinokrot, entails the adoption of four schools in Sahab municipality, southeast of Amman, in implementation of the 'my health is my life' pivot.
In a statement, Sinokrot pointed to his company's constant endeavor to serve the local community, provide a safe educational environment for students and support various segments of society.
For his part, Jarrah emphasized that such agreements contribute to bringing up more efficient youth that are able to meet the needs of the local community, and address the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under the agreement, he added, students’ basic needs of stationary and other requirements to facilitate the educational process in the classroom will be provided. 'Furthermore, students will be introduced to the concepts of public health, personal hygiene and the most important periodic medical checks,'.
