Army chief visits Economic Social Association of veterans
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday visited the Economic Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During his visit, Huneiti was briefed on the implementation of Royal directives to enhance the role of the association and amend its laws, organisational structure and business governance.
Huneiti reiterated his support for the institution’s efforts to improve the quality of services provided to military retirees and create more job opportunities for them and their children.
The association was established under a special law in 1974 to manage the affairs of military retirees and provide suitable job opportunities for them and their families, in coordination with the concerned authorities.
