JUST head, Kuwaiti cultural attaché talk higher education cooperation
President of Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Dr. Khaled El-Salem, discussed with the Kuwaiti Cultural Attaché in Jordan and chairman of the Council of the Arab Cultural Advisors and Attachés, Dr. Badr Mutairi, ways to enhance joint cooperation and coordination, and follow-up on conditions of Kuwaiti students enrolled at JUST.
In a JUST statement Wednesday, El-Salem affirmed the university’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with the Kuwaiti Cultural Attaché in various academic and cultural fields, expressing its readiness to receive more Kuwaiti students to join various scientific degrees and academic disciplines.
JUST, he said, is working to provide support and attention for Arab and foreign students enrolled at the university, and overcome any obstacles facing them during their campus life.
Mutairi, for his part, lauded the 'strong' Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations, especially in the educational area, stressing the need to work to overcome Covid-19 pandemic-induced challenges on Kuwaiti students enrolled at various universities abroad.
