Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Thursday, over the phone, held talks with his Algerian counterpart Ramtane Lamamra, during which he expressed the Kingdom’s condolences to the victims of the wildfires and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Safadi voiced Amman’s solidarity with Algeria in dealing with the situation and the Kingdom’s readiness to provide all kinds of support to deal with the wildfires and their repercussions, upon His Majesty King Abdullah’s directives, according to a ministry statement.
The two ministers voiced keenness to enhance cooperation in various fields as part of the “historical brotherly ties” between the countries. They also discussed the latest regional developments and means to deal with regional crises, as well as endeavours to enhance joint Arab action to serve Arab causes and interests.
