Woman shares 'wasteful' amount of McDonald's packaging for one sachet of sauce
A woman left people in stitches after sharing the amount of packing of packaging she received for just one sachet of sauce, after making a mistake on her McDonald's order.
A woman was left gobsmacked when her order from McDonald's arrived with a HUGE amount of packaging - just for one tiny sachet of sauce.
The video of her unpacking her rather sparse order went viral - as people were left in stitches at the efficiency of the staff who packed it - who made sure it arrived safely.
Monika shared the clip online - where she admitted she had meant to also order a burger and fries - but accidentally missed those off the order.
So all that arrived was a single sachet of sour cream sauce, from McDonald's in Poland, which she had ordered through Uber Eats.
The popular sauce is commonly used to dip fries into, but Monika's mistake meant she just had a single 25ml sachet - which had been wrapped in FIVE paper bags.
She shared a clip of her opening the delivery - and it reminded us of the childhood classic 'pass the parcel' - except that usually had better prizes.
The well-secured sauce had been placed in five bags, each one smaller than the last - and understandably, people can be heard breaking down in hysterics in the background.
Handily, the staff even included napkins - so she really was looked after, considering they must have been pretty confused by her order.
Monika captioned the clip, viewed more than 15 million times: 'I am truly sorry, I thought I also ordered a burger.'
In the video, she explained: 'I accidentally ordered one single sauce on UberEats and McDonald's decided to do this.'
In the comments, she jokily added: 'All I wanted was a burger and some sauce for the fries. Here we are, cancelled for hating trees.'
Her video left people in stitches, as one viewer commented: 'You wasted their time so they're wasting yours.'
Another wrote: 'This is so wasteful, poor trees lol.'
'Whoever made that really wanted to waste time during their shift,' wrote a third, while another joked: 'Imagine if they included the wrong sauce.'
